Jason Ezzelle began his career in clinical laboratory science before moving into clinical research, where he helped pioneer laboratory monitoring as a dedicated service within PPD. His work took him around the world, assessing laboratories, strengthening quality systems, training laboratory teams, and supporting research programs in challenging and resource-limited settings.

As first author of the published Guidelines on Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), Jason helped establish a framework designed to bridge the gap between research laboratory practices and the regulatory expectations of clinical trials.
